Yokohama – Red Brick Warehouse & Minato Mirai

Here’s the rest about Yokohama post.

Here we are at the Red Brick Warehouse. The view certainly looks like you’re in some Ah Mo country.

Don’t get fooled by its look. These buildings are not warehouse. It’s actually a shopping place.

Okay, here’s how inside look like.

Various armband representing the country. Too bad, I couldn’t find Malaysia armband. (´Д⊂ Guess Malaysia is not famous enough or they can’t find a suitable colour to represent it.

Various coffee bean and the coffee they make smells good. Btw, I'm allergic to coffee LOL. So no coffee for me >___<

The making of curry pan (bread).

They also sell lots of unique home decoration.

Super love the UK themed suitcase <3

Look how creative it is. Using underwear as mail storage. Next time you can recycle your underwear and do this as well. LOL XD

Next stop Minato Mirai~

I don’t know why, but this view reminded me of Crown in Melbourne >__<

My reason for coming to Yokohama was to ride on this super awesome Ferris Wheel. (Due to the influence of Honey and Clover, I'm a fans of Ferris Wheel!! XD)

That day was super unlucky due to terrible rainy weather. Ferris wheel close at 7.00pm. ヽ(;´д`)ノ

In order to ease my unsatisfactory mood, we decided to have some yummy food facing the ferris wheel!(=´∇`=)

That’s the end of Yokohama journey. Nice places bad weather. T___T

Oh ya, from the post above about the armband, actually Malaysia is not unfamiliar in Japan because this is what we saw when we’re in Yokohama.
Sugoi deshou? (=゜ω゜)ノ Go! Go! Malaysia

That’s it for today.

Hikari

Yokohama – Yamashita Park

Hikari again.

Continuation from the previous post.

Here we are at Yamashita Park, a few walking distances from Chinatown. It’s a beautiful place.

Hikari with the Guardian of Water. Lots of school kids coming here for excursion. Can you spot a few of them?

It’s a park facing the ocean, that’s why it’s looks awesome. Behind me is the Hikawa Maru museum. Too bad we didn't visit the museum T__T

The friendship between girl scout Japan and the USA. Ohh and also Hikari as the busybody \(゜∇゜)/

Beautiful rose garden before the rainfall. X.X

We somehow manage to find a shelter at the vending machines. While waiting for the rain to stop, why not buy something from the vending machine since Japan is famous with their vending machine LOL XD

Look at the rows of vending machine they have!!!

Fufufu..another interesting we spotted in Yamashita Park.

That’s it for today.

p/s: I'm such an idiot. I just realised that you can adjust the size of your picture (small to large). >___<

Yokohama - Chinatown

Hikari desu!

China loves to build/plant their Chinatown everywhere and this includes Japan! XD

It takes roughly 35 minutes by train from Tokyo.

Here we are in Yokohama Chinatown. Rainy weather that day (TAT) but..Hehehe..Leng zai ossan spotted??? ∑(゜△゜;)…just joking XD

Feels like you’re in China?

Most of the stores in Chinatown sell food. There's some panda merchandise but not much stores sell souvenirs.

We just have our lunch, so it’s too full for us to eat anymore but the bun with little peach bun inside looks delicious. (=゜ω゜)ノ

Shark fin~~!

I present you......
Chinatown sendiri punya Shibuya 109, CHINATOWN 80!!! LOL XD

Fufufu..there’s people filming a program when we’re there. Can you spot Hikari and Pixie?

And not to forget it’s summer in Japan, so it’s not unusual to spot ladies in their yukatas.
The fact that they’re wearing yukata in Chinatown remind you that you’re still in Japan LOL XD

That’s it for today.

More about Yokohama coming next time!!

Sky Tree

Hikaru desu…

Have not been posting for few days because I got sick. Terrible sore throat, runny nose and having trouble sleeping at night ( TДT).

So today post will be quite short.

Finally visited Sky Tree which opens to public since May 2012.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t purchase ticket for the top observatory spot because tickets are SOLD OUT until 29th July!!! And the day we went there was on the 2nd June (;゜ロ゜)||

So the furthest we can reach is 33th floor where you can observe Tokyo view for free.

Here’s the day view of Tokyo. Sugoi deshou? XD

Hikaru-kun and the boys at Sky Tree  (・∀・)

Besides viewing, Sky Tree area also has lots of other stuff to do so you won’t get bored.

That’s it for today. Jaa ne!

Akihabara - Otaku Wonderland

Good day,

Hikaru desu!

For people who love games, anime and manga. Akihabara is a MUST GO places when you visit Tokyo.

Can you spot P4?
Can you spot maid poster?
Can you spot poster with Malaysia flag? XDD

Interested in what they sell in Akihabara? Here’s a targeted building that we decide to investigate! (ノ゜o゜)ノYoshh!!

Here’s a closer look of the building. Realized that the whole building sells anime/manga stuff! Let’s have a look what’s inside it. *mysterious music playing* 彡`∀´)

Here are some photos

To be honest, up till now (photo above) I don't have a single clue about what  anime characters  are those.
I noticed that most of the merchandises sold here are targeted towards boys.
But here’s something for the girls. Hetalia, Atelier and AMNESIA! (´∀`).

I’m not sure whether we are allowed to take pictures inside the building or not, but no one stopped us. X333 Other interesting stuff that you can find in Akihabara….

Gundam Cafe

And not forget that Akihabara is mostly dominated by AKB48

MOAR AKB48

Can you spot Mayuyu? (*^-^*)

Can you spot AKB48 rival?

You can also find various costumes in Akihabara. Can you imagine girls wearing this uniform? Kawaii deshou?

What about if it’s man in this uniform? Can you imagine?

TADA!!! Still kawaii? (゜~゜)?

Another thing that you should do in Akihabara is experiencing maid café. We wanted to visit one but most of the maid café is full and Hikaru only prefer non-smoking places. >___<

So what do you think about Akihabara?

Girls, don’t have to be disappointed. Hikaru will bring you to Otomeland next time ъ(`―゜)

Till then, jaa ne! =D

Sanrio Puroland part II

Hikari again! (●´―`●)

Guess some of you might get sick of Hello Kitty. Worry not! Because Hello Kitty also has done lots of collaboration with others and one of it is One Piece! So, what do you think about this Hello Kitty x Chopper?

Sanrio Puroland also has 3D cinema featuring One Piece. It’s basically sitting there and watch One Piece anime just that it is in 3D. It’s quite boring for me since I don’t understand Japanese and I’m not a fan of One Piece. But One Piece fans will absolutely love it. (*^-^*)

Fufufufu..another collaboration with Hello Kitty that makes me asdfghjjkjklklllk; is this \(゜∇゜)/
AAA wa totemo daisuki~~~<3

What’s left in Sanrio Puroland is shopping!!! You don’t have to worry about Hello Kitty merchandises being “cetak rompak” or whatsoever. And they have broad range of awesome stuff that you can’t find anywhere but in Japan because most of Kitty stuff is “For Sale in Japan only”. XD

Here are some of the Kitty merchandises

Hello Kitty rice cracker (´ε`)

Baby Kitty products

That's it for today!
