Kamakura: Temples and Beach

Sorry for not updating my blog for such a long time.(´;ω;`)

It's summer in Japan now!! They have heaps of interesting events going on (SALE, beach, fireworks and summer festivals)
And today was a public holiday in Japan called Sea Day (海の日).ヽ(´―`)ノ

Went to Kamakura during my school holidays. It was my first time going there so was sort of excited~!

First visit to the Engakuji Temple (ノ゜o゜)ノ

Second visit to Meigetsuin Temple, also known as Hydrangea Temple. Didn't really go in though because it was a bit pricy to look at hydrangea. Besides, I have looked at them more than enough. XDD
For hydrangea flower post, click here.

So just a hydrange picture for now. It feels so nice to have someone to take photo for you LOL.(*´д`*)

Next visit to Great Buddha. Is a MUST VISIT place when you go to Kamakura.

Not only they have Great Buddha, they also have GREAT Japanese Sandal? (is that how you call that??)(・w・)

Last visit to the beach~~ 海だ!!\(^o^)/

Actually there's nothing special about the beach. The water was not as clean and the sand was not as soft. But since we were not going in, so it was OK! And it was my first time going to the beach in Japan. So, sort of excited! (´~`)

Well of course we had lunch and walked a little in the city. But I forgot to take photos. Gomen (>Д<;)

I guess that's it for today. Will post more pictures and do less typing. Not sure what to write about LOL XDD.

Next time will be about Hokkaido.

Till then...oyasumi~

Hakusan Shrine, Hydrangea and Todai

Hello minna!!

Hiichan desu~

I am finally back from my Hokkaido trip~ ≧∇≦

It was super fun, ate a lot, drink a lot and play a lot!

Before posting anything related to Hokkaido (need time to sort out the photos XDD), I've done a short journey by myself at Tokyo (Bunkyo area) during the holiday.

It's rainy season now in Tokyo (YES! Rain everyday and non-stop!!).

The best thing to enjoy during this season was hydrangea (ajisai) viewing. The flowers bloom beautifully during this season. (*´д`*)

Was really reluctant to go at first due to the RAIN!!! ヽ(`д´)ノ. But decided to go since it was last day for flower viewing before all of them get pruned.(;゜ロ゜)

Still decided to wear flora dress though it was a little chill due to the rain. Sorry phone sucks! OTL

One of the places that was easily accessible in Tokyo for hydrangea viewing was Hakusan Shrine. Entrance was free! You don't need to pay! BANZAI~~!!! ヽ(´―`)ノ

From what I know, the shrine was really famous for god to tooth. Those who has any tooth problem can come and pray over here. Those who don't have any tooth problem can also pray for no problem (your tooth). Hahahaha XDDD

The shrine was planted with 3000+ hydrangea flowers.
Usually during every mid June of the year, Ajisai Festival will be held here. I've totally missed out this year because I was having exam during that time (´;ω;`)

Pictures~~!!! They looked incredibly pretty after the rain. (Lucky the rain stopped, when I arrive there)   \(^o^)/

Even the park behind the shrine was full bloomed with hydrangea.

Okieeee after all the lovely flower viewing, let's move on to the Japan's most prestigious university, The University of Tokyo (Todai for short).

Sorry most of the photos were taken using phone. I'm too shy to take them using my camera since those uni students might think I am weird XDD.

Overall, the university has a lot of Western-styled buildings. I don't even think I was in Japan. AND YES!!!! I really wanna study in this university!!!! The environment and those Western buildings are juuuuussssttt toooo perfect~~!!

But it was TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE for me LOL. Maybe I need reborn 10 times in order to get into this university. ((((゜д゜;))))

Rugby match during the weekend. What I saw was a group of genius students!!! @A@

One of the landmarks that makes you think you're still in Japan is Akamon (the red gate). X333

Overall, it turned out to be a good day. It was fun walking around Bunkyo area. Was quiet and chilly after the rain. Maybe I might do more self journey next time (=゜ω゜)ノ

However, one bad thing about self journey was.....NO ONE is gonna take picture for you!!!!

So, here's a little selfie of mine with hydrangea XDDD

Okieee see you next time.

My holiday is coming to an end TAT. Gonna start school this Monday *cries in a corner* (ノД`)

Till then....

Roses~~~

Konnichiwa minna,

Hiichan desu!

Sorry for not updating! Was really busy these few days as my exam is coming soon.

Went to Rose Festival during the spring season at Kyu-Furukawa Garden(<---backlog, I know it's the beginning of summer now XDD).

For those who got watch the anime called Umineko no Naku Koro ni might recognized this location. The setting of the anime was based on this place. (=゜ω゜)ノ

But hey~ Today is the last day of the rose event. It's not really that backlog~~ Hahaha XDD

Photos of various roses.
Each roses has their own information plate (name, species and also whether it has fragrance/smell).

Sorry for bad qualities, those photos were taken from my crappy phone and the sun was super bright that day! (´;ω;`)

Further inside the garden is a Japanese style garden.

I think it will look extremely beautiful during the autumn with all the red leaves (*´д`*)

Look at the amount of people!!

It was really hard to move around and took picture~~ >A<

So, only one picture of me which had less photobomb if you counted that gardener out ≧∇≦

Wearing dress that matches up with the roses LOL X3333

Ok, gonna stop for today!

Gonna back to my studying. Has been sleeping the whole day due to the the rainy season.

It's rainy season now here in Tokyo and today is the 4th day of the rainy days (NO, the rain DOES NOT STOP falling at all during these 4 days = 96 hours). OTL

Till then....

Kodomo no Hi x Tokyo Tower

Konbanwa minna!

Was really busy last week, so don't have time to update (having test everyday! Japanese are spartan LOL (>Д<;)).

Kodomo no Hi (children's days) was one of the holiday during golden week.

During Children's' Day, the Japanese will usually hang flying koi fish.

In the celebration of Children's Day, Tokyo Tower has hanged around 300 koi fish! It's my first time seeing this too! *excited excited*≧∇≦

Actually Children's Day was more like boys' day, though it says children days. Girls' day was during March.

During Children's Day, they will hang on koi fish hoping that each boy in the family will grow up healthy and strong.

Night view of the fish XDD

Also some random shots of Tokyo Tower. (*´д`*)
Didn't go up to the observation tower, since I had been up there before LOL ( ̄。 ̄)

And they were having some car shows over there at the same time. Gomen, I'm not good with cars (>Д<;)

This looked exactly like Cars animation movie LOL!!

Another special thing during Golden Week is this.....

TADA!!!

The lightning of the Tokyo Tower~~!!  (=>ω<)ノ <3

Normally, Tokyo Tower is always red/orange light. However, during Golden Week, they lighted up a special color. It's my first time seeing a different light from Tokyo Tower. ヽ(´―`)ノ

The Tower's light was also different when President Obama visited Japan during April. It was only for 2 days with the flag's color of the US. Unfortunately, I couldn't take picture during that time because it was weekdays and I have class the next day. To view the photo, click here.

Okay that's it for today~

See you next time!

おやすみ!(-_-)zzz

Mer x Shibuya Parco event

Konnichiwa!

Hiichan desu!

It's finally the last day of Golden Week (4 days of holidays). School starts tomorrow (´;ω;`)

During Golden Week, there's always tonne of events in Japan. There's so much to choose from at the same day (Mer event, Jpop event, Comic Party, Harajuku kawaii, etc etc)!!! I wish I can spilt myself into 5/6 persons!(>Д<;)

But I can only choose one LOL and YESH, I did not regret choosing the Mer event. I disregard all other events to go to this event.

The event information can be found on Mer magazine June issue. I am going because model Midori Fukasawa is gonna be there!

So excited to meet her in person for the first time! (*´д`*)

I really like her in terms of her Lolita fashion and casual fashion. Besides, she is SUPER CUTE and PRETTY! <3

My favorite model all time!!≧∇≦

Coordination of the day.

The event was actually a flea market where the models will be selling their clothes.

All the clothes that they are selling has tag of each models' name. So, you will know whose clothes you are buying.

The event starts at 12.00pm and it was already a SUPER long queue even before the event started.

I dragged my friends along too LOL. Hahaha XDD

I didn't take any picture of the models because you are not allowed to take picture during the event.

Yea, it sucks! I was really sad when I read the rules.
What's the point of going to an event if you're not allowed to take picture. Guess you can take them as memories in your mind.

I was so happy to be able to meet Midori. She was super kyuuute and sweet.

When I told her that I'm from Malaysia, she was very excited and even commented on my Nameko since she likes Nameko as well (=´∇`=)

Glad that we still hold hands and have a few conversation (<--- I am too kancheong (nervous) that I cannot think properly and also my poor Japanese) (´;ω;`)

Bought myself a cardigan from Midori (・∀・). The color was cute (*^-^*) and it's not good to just go there and talk but didnt buy anything. Hahaha XDD

My friends bought herself a pink one piece from Midori also while I was busy talking to Midori. It was really nice, I should have get it myself LOL.

I was really happy and excited on that day because.....

TA DA!!!!!! Selfie together with Midori. She is sooo pretty~~<3
Please don't mind my derp face. I am not ready that time. (;一_一)

Fufufu, I just told her can I take photo with her. She said ok and took it from her phone. She said she will upload it to her blog later which I can go and view it.

Read her blog here.

Guess that's it for today.

I also went to other events during golden week.

Will blog about them next time.

Till then...
