Today is the day where the cosplay festival takes place~!

And finally K anime cosplay competition. Grand prize of the competition was a return ticket to Japan to attend the official K event. Σ(゜д゜|||). Jelly nyer~~!!! (´＞ω＜｀)

The lucky winner falls to Neko cosplayer!! いいな (´～｀)

Since, it’s an ACG event, cosplay competition will not be a miss.

AFA SG 2012 day 1

Hello minna-san,

Hii-chan desu!        

Today is the day, where AFA begins. First time going to AFA. *excited excited* O(≧∇≦)O

Took super early flight and reached Changi Airport Singapore early in the morning. (つ∀-)zzZZ

Couldn't check in hotel and was forced to camp in the airport till 12pm.

Since AFA was held in Singapore Expo which is only 1 stop from the airport, we decided to bring our luggages (full of costume and stuff) along to purchase our tickets. (～o～)

Once we reached the AFA ticket booth, we regretted straight away for camping in the airport. We should have camp at the EXPO instead!

Look at the queue!! People mountain people sea~~!! Σ(゜д゜|||)

After few seconds/minutes/hours of long queue, we finally got our AFA tickets. Festival + Stage for Saturday and Sunday for $20 each day. 

Sort of regretted buying festival + stage for Sunday since we’ll only be there for half day. But oh well, first time experience XDD

Look at all the awesome events they have at AFA SG.

My main goal going to AFA SG is to meet the celebrity cosplayers especially Kaname☆ and Reika as well as AFA host, Danny Choo.

But of course, the most important thing is to meet lots of awesome cosplayers, photographers and to have FUN. (=´∇｀=)

As usual AFA have the famous maid cafe (MOE MOE KYUN) and butler cafe (Atelier Royale). (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

However, this time they even have fashion event featuring lots of famous gyaru and Harajuku models from Japan. Unfortunately, I didn’t go because Fukasawa Midori is NOT THERE! If she’s there, I will DEFINITELY go. Good thing is, I got to save my pocket money (゜∇゜)

AFA day 1 doesn't have cosplay event. There’s only concert performed by various AniSong singers such as FLOW, T.M.Revolution, Lisa, BabyMetal and more! 

Day 1 concert is fully performed by T.M.Revolution.

That’s it for Day 1. After purchasing AFA tickets, we check in our hotel and pengsan straight away. @.@

A quick update before AFA SG (Anime Festival Asia Singapore) which will be happening this coming Saturday! ≧∇≦ 楽しい！

Was busy preparing for AFA SG!

This ACG event will be Hii-chan FIRST TIME cosplaying instead of Lolita!ヽ(´―｀)ノ

First CosCard

Well it’s not actually CosCard since this is an original character. So let’s call it Facebook/Blogger card? ≧∇≦

Second will be character cosplay! (＝＞ω＜)ノ

In order not to fail or try last minute makeup, I try to practice on makeup that is more tebal XDD

Sad to say but I failed in the makeup. Doesn’t really look much different compared to my usual make up. =____=

Based on the wig, can you guess what character that I am cosplaying?

Why not I give you another hint, the last and the most important thing needed is COSTUME!

Lolita Halloween Party

It’s my first time attending Lolita meet up with lots of kawaii girls *shy* *shy* (●´―｀●)

The night before attending…

was busy packing up my sweets for the girls! (゜∇゜)

Our meet up was at Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie. The environment looked quite nice!

I ordered Chicken Lasagne. The food presentation was really nice but it tasted so so only. I guess they sort of overcooked it.  

After the feast, it’s time for some ‘syok sendiri’ session. o≧∇≦o

Because we have takusan (lots) of candy left, we decided to give out some of our candy to the kids! ゝ(＾Ｏ＾)丿

Overall, it was a really fun gathering. All of the Loli girls are so kyute and friendly. Thanks for organizing this event and I hope there are more Lolita events coming up in the future!

Taiping Anime/Cosplay Event

Good day!

Hikari desu!

On Saturday, I attended Taiping’s first anime/cosplay event.

It was quite surprising (in a GOOD way (=´∇｀=)) for Taiping to organize such event because Taiping is a small and peaceful town. Mostly only aunty/uncle stay there as well as small kids. Hahaha X333.

This time Loli coordination. JSK from Bodyline.

The event starts from 10.30am to 9.30pm.

We arrived quite late around 4pm++ >__<

At first, I was quite nervous wondering will anyone wearing Loli or cosplaying.

But it was not bad, there were some people cosplaying and there were quite lots of people attending since it’s a FREE entrance (=´∇｀=).

However, Pixie and me are the only Lolita girl there! XD

The activities there were not bad.

They have band singing Bleach song. Can’t remember the song name. XD

They also have maid competition (self intro and talent show).

All the maids look kawaii desu ne!(●´―｀●)

We came late and did not stay for too long so we missed out some of the activities.

Manage to take picture with a group of cosplayers.

Most of the time, we were asked to take picture with fans people attending the event. (゜～゜)

The most LOL thing is when we are loitering at the place; suddenly we got caught by the camera shop person to help promoting her photos (～o～). But tarak free photograph for us (-_-)

I guess that’s it for my report on Taiping first anime event. I wish there are more event like this in Taiping. 

Hope Taiping can be a more active town in the coming future! (＝゜ω゜)ノ

Parkamaya Ambassador Audition

Konnichiwa minna,

Hikari desu!

On Saturday, I went for Parkamaya Ambassador Audition.

It’s a new retail shop that is gonna open this coming December in Fahrenheit 88.

The concept of the store is featured based on Asian Fashion and I hope that it’s HARAJUKU!

It’s time to bring some Harajuku Street Fashion into Malaysia like what’s featuring in Japan magazine (Zipper, ChokiChoki, Kera, etc)   (●´―｀●).

I wish that more people are able to dress up what they like confidently and more people are able to accept variety of fashion style. (=´∇｀=)

Anyways, the audition run for 3 days and Saturday is the last day for the audition.

Here are some pictures behind the scene audition. 

Hahaha even though the shoot last for a few minutes, I feel so useless during this short amount of time (-_-).

Before audition, I thought of a few poses that I want to pose during the shooting. However, my mind went blank when it’s my turn ∑(゜△゜;). I run out of pose and start laughing half way. ( TДT)

This incident reminded me of my previous ACG event (Animangaki) where I have awkward/weird/freeze poses LOL. Seems like I need more practices. (＝゜ω゜)ノ

After the shoot, we were also allowed to choose one of our shots for A4 sized photo for FREE =D

Nevertheless, it was fun and it was my first time participating in such event LOL. Hope I can improve and get more chance to participate in such event XD.

Sorry and Birthday。。。

Hii-chan desu (Hikari & Hikaru)

First of all, honto ni gomenasai for not updating my blog like forever!

A lot of things happened in my life this few days (mostly are BAD ones) (´；ω；｀)

It was a really painful process to overcome all the troubles (including tears shedding, stress, countless insomnia and headache).

But during this whole time, I received lots of support from my family, relatives and friends. They helped and cheered me a lot. ありがとう！(´ε｀)

Nonetheless, I did not regret in the past days. It was fun and nice before all the troubles/problems arise. (;´д⊂)

Just like what people said, take it as a lesson. You grow everytime you hurt. After the rain, you’ll see the rainbow rite!

Talking about this reminded me of a manga called ‘Clear up after rain’ (Ame Nochi Hare) by Bikke. It’s a lovely manga, highly recommended. (*^-^*). However, the story line does not come any similar with my above complaint story. >__<

Okay enough of all the babbling and negative stuff! Once bad thing ends, good thing will eventually comes.

Fufu, it’s the month of October and it’s CAKE CELEBRATION month!! ≧∇≦

On the day of Hii-chan’s birthday, instead of having SWEET cake every year. I got a savoury cake instead. Guess what it is….?
